We are going to break the mold
I 100% understand wanting to have some nice family photos in pretty outfits where everyone is looking at the camera. However, it is pretty accurate to state it’s impossible that during the session you will walk away without a single grain of sand on you or some salt water. Families are not, “picture perfect”, at all times. Life is messy, it’s wild, and it’s a little silly at times so please don’t feel that your photoshoot has to be you looking, “picture perfect”, for every.single.photo. When you walk down your hallways don’t you want to see captures that are true to who your family is ? This might be your child’s toothy grin while giggling to their sibling or you and your spouse sharing a quick look to one another that is filled with knowing and love. With weddings it may be your grandmother whose eyes are filling with happy tears as she watches you walk down the aisle. We can capture some shots looking at the camera smiling but then let’s break the mold of continuously staring at the camera forcing a smile. Let’s laugh, get in the water, play with the sand, and squeeze your loved ones tightly while soaking up paradise.
The style I photograph
What is a hybrid photographer ? You may have seen the word film on my website or social media handles. This does not mean I am snapping photos and taking videos during our session ( that would be some incredible multi-tasking ). I am what is called a hybrid photographer meaning I capture my subjects using both digital cameras AND old school film cameras. To me film is breathtaking. It preserves a moment with such beauty that no matter what technology gets thrown out into the world what film photography brings to the table cannot be replaced. About 95% of the photos on my website are all film photos ( including the image attached ).If you take a close look at them you will notice a very soft grain. If you spotted any rainbow images of mine those are all 35mm film and not a photoshop effect. Every rainbow image is a unique surprise that is unknown until scanned at my lab. Trends with photography come and go - with how quickly time passes + kids grow up why not capture your memories in a manner that is exactly how that moment was with true to life colors and depth. Photography is an investment. I think it’s important to choose to invest it in a manner that keeps the memories preserved timelessly .

Send Me an Inquiry When you contact me through an inquiry you will receive back detailed information of what dates + start times are still available during the time frame requested.You will also receive access to my Locations Guide if for Maui which showcases the BEST locations around the island to choose your location from. I like to keep everything very straight forward which means you will know exactly what to expect with my response to your inquiry.

BOOKING Upon looking over the information sent in my inquiry response you can choose what you believe best fits the experience you are looking to have. I do require a non refundable $90 Holding Fee for all Lifestyle Packages ( * if for another island or elsewhere the Holding Fee will vary ) + my Photography Contract with the inputted session information to be digitally signed by the individual booking. These two items are what officially secures your session in my book. I also offer booked clients a very helpful visual What to Expect/Wear Guide for any outfit inspiration.

THE PHOTOSHOOT I always send a friendly check in a week out from our session to see if you have any questions. The photoshoot itself is always aimed to be a very enjoyable/relaxed experience. I do not want you feeling stressed out at all about having your photos taken and will offer helpful posing tips as well as prompts to make our time together flow easily. A handful of edited digital photos will be sent your way the day following our shoot and the online gallery will go out no later than 2 weeks from the session date.
