A Sunset Family Photoshoot in Kapalua

Saying goodbye to the sun with a glowing family sunset session on Maui’s far West end

As much as I personally love morning sessions sunset sessions always make my heart beat a little faster with happiness from the golden pastel colors that emerge. This beach in Kapalua always makes me think a bit of the Oregon coastline with the beach being lined with pine trees though it does have a nice handful of palm trees to bring back those Hawaiian vibes in the middle of it. This session took place at the end of summer before the winter weather rolled in where its a tad more common for wind and rain on this far side of the island. However, in the winter months the glow in the early morning or evening that catches on the waves as they rush towards the shoreline is a pretty magical sight to see.
