A Glowing Morning Photoshoot in Lahaina, Maui

When combing through my work it is no secret that I love that early morning light for photoshoots here in Hawaii. Though the start times I send over may sound daunting that is the prime time to shoot for those stunning photos. If looking to book for a family shoot one has to remember the time difference that happens when you come to island. Even if you would be sleeping away at home on the mainland during the start time of our session together my clients are always wide away/ready to go with still being on the mainland’s time clock. Vacation in general can take a lot of out of you so when photographing in the early AM you don’t have to worry about a worn out kiddo or nap time ready spouse.

This shoot below was one where my clients were READY ! They were on it from the get go and so much fun ! Though I always give helpful direction on poses and prompts it doesn’t seem like it always registers how perfect just doing YOU for photos is. Play. Laugh. Don’t feel like you have to look at the camera. Just be. It’s relaxing for you and it’s super fun for me to get to document you just having a good time. Now like I said I will always be there to help guide but let’s make sessions about making those memories of just enjoying yourself in beautiful Hawaii.
