If one were to scroll social media or Pinterest for ideas of photoshoots here in Hawai’i what primarily would pop up would be sessions taking place on the beach— With how stunning the beaches here are in the islands it is completely understandable on why that would be the main location for a photoshoot to take place on. However, maybe you travel to Hawai’i frequently and have done a session or two on the beach where something a little more out of the box might be a bit more up the alley for this go around. If you feel like you are gravitating that direction then you are in the right place ! This beautiful photoshoot took place here on the island of Maui in a town located on the North Shore called Paia. The town itself is quite small with some colorful boutiques, ice cream shops, art galleries , and a sprinkle of restaurants but there is definitely enough to experience to keep one busy for a few hours.

Add in some colorful fun murals like the one pictured above where maybe a photoshoot taking place in one of the beautiful towns here is something to add onto your list of “ Hawai’i to do’s” :)

An in town session is also a great option if you would like to have a fantastic variety of images in your gallery. As you will see in the photos below the beautiful couple and I took advantage of all that Paia had to offer with photos in front of the cute shops/murals, added in a shaved ice photo break into the mix, and even a few captures hanging out in beach park next to town as well as the beach itself. Overall what an incredible fun way to document your time here in Hawai’i !
