Wailea Beach Family Photoshoot Maui

It is no secret that morning photoshoots here in Maui have my heart. The beaches are much emptier , the lighting is perfect, and who doesn’t want to start their day while on vacation with toes in the sand ?! Mornings are 100% my bread and butter . Now with morning photoshoots if you are a parent to a little on you may feel a bit hesitate about an early morning session. Trust me , I get it. Though let me tell you about a HUGE helper here in Hawaii for those early starts : time.difference. You may have read that and had the reaction, “ Okay?”, so let me elaborate - When flying to Hawaii little ones tend to wake up before the sun here on island. Keep in mind when the day is coming to an end here and that sun is setting into the ocean’s horizon it is SO much later back home meaning your kiddo(s) are up late. Early morning sessions are going to be your ticket to a less tired child with them not being pushed way past their bed times and beginning the day bright eyed and chipper. Now parents it would be nice if that time difference had the same effect for adults but that is when you grab a cup of coffee/tea whatever your magic tonic may be to help you feel alive for the photoshoot. Once your session ends you then are able to check a photoshoot off your “to do” list and spend your day relaxing or exploring around the island with zero stress about nap time or rushing to get back to the hotel room to get ready for a photoshoot.
