A Couples Photoshoot in Wailea, Maui

When L reached out about a session to document her trip here to island with her husband before he deployed in the fall I immediately wanted to get the date set. It’s not posted in my bio but my husband and I met while he was stationed as a Marine in Twenty-Nine Palms, California ( hence how a Southern California girl met the Southern Georgia boy ). I had been through a deployment before and I cannot tell you the number of times I would go out at night to stare up at the moon knowing that was one thing we could both see that was the same.

When I met L + S down at Wailea Beach immediately I saw their love shining brightly for one another. They were so in sync, down to earth, and soaking up every moment together. The session was overcast for a majority of the shoot with a tropical storm that was blowing in but it did not matter - these two glowed on their own.
