Maui Wailea Couples Photoshoot
The Hawaiian islands are truly incredible with how diverse each island is and how each side of an island is so unique with it’s landscape. If you are traveling to Maui, Hawaii and are looking to schedule a photoshoot at a location with soft sandy beaches, lava rock, palm trees, and mountain views then the South Side of Maui is your spot to be ! With no shortage of amazing beaches permitted for sessions Kihei, Wailea, and Makena all offer some of the most picturesque beaches for photoshoots to take place on. With this below session the couple and I decided on two beaches that are only two minutes away from one another - the beauty of being on an island.
When it comes to couple sessions if you decide to book an hour + photoshoot you have the luxury of being able to have an outfit change or two during our time together. This may sound like a hassle if you know your significant other is not the most excited about a photoshoot but trust me once things get going everyone starts to have a great time so bring some outfits along. When it comes to wearing more than one outfit I recommend starting the session off in either more dressed up attire or casual. This way fun formal shots can be snapped before it gets too toasty out. With the second outfit if up for it wear a swimsuit or clothes you are comfortable getting wet in. Once we knock out the section of the photoshoot with more posed shots/fun prompts to give cute shots like the ones below I like to have the second half of the session be just play. This is the time to get out in the ocean or get a bit sandy on the beach. You have chosen to travel to a tropical island in the sea - let’s take full advantage of showcasing Hawaii’s beautiful landscape as well as cool off in the ocean !
