Hawaii Family Photoshoot | Maui
Family sessions are my jam - so when presented with multigenerational family sessions know I am over the moon ! I love the dynamics that come with photographing each family. No two are the same and each session ignites my creative fire.
With the lovely family featured in this blog post I was blessed to have two hours in their presence so there are only a handful of photos showcased in this post of our time together. Due to the amount of laughing and chatting that occurred during my time with them I am shocked their gallery was as crazy large as it turned out to be - that’s when you know some major magic went down when work doesn’t feel like work in the slightest and the images are all so beautiful.
Something important to touch on if you are planning to schedule a large family photoshoot of your own is do not short yourself out on time. Sessions with multiple family members WILL take time. It’s not a quick 45 or 60 minute snap and done. Even if there are little ones I promise you they will be entertained and I always photograph pairings with the youngest kiddos first so if they do need to bow out they can. However, most of the time everyone gets wrapped up in just enjoying their time at our session location and being with family members here in Hawaii.
I know it may sound biased with me being a photographer but if you are traveling anywhere with your loved ones I do highly recommend to take the time to have some photos snapped. Two hours or however long really is a blink of a moment in the grand scheme of things but the photos will be something precious to look back on forever and always.
